The Township of Severn election procedures will at all times be in
keeping with the principles of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996,
as amended, including but not limited to the secrecy and confidentiality of
individual votes is paramount; the election will be fair and non-biased;
the election will be accessible to all eligible voters; the integrity of
the process will be maintained throughout the election; there will be a
certainty that the results of the election reflect the votes cast and
voters and candidates will be treated fairly and consistently within the
municipality. All election personnel shall maintain the integrity
and confidentiality of the election process throughout the election
period.

The Township of Severn is committed to having regard to the needs of
electors with disabilities and consideration to the Ontarians
with Disabilities Act, 2001, as amended, while providing all eligible
electors full access and the right to vote during the 2010 Municipal
Election. The Township of Severn Administration Office at 1024
Hurlwood Lane provides full accessibility for electors during the
