2011 Water/Sewer Rates

 Severn Township Council has adopted the following rates for 2011 to offset the cost of operating and maintaining the municipal water and sewer systems:

•  The Minimum Quarterly Charge applies to the first 68 M3 (15,000 gallons) of

 consumption.  When the consumption in a quarter exceeds 68 M3, the following

 surcharge rates will be applied:

                                     $1.71 per M3 > 68 M3 – water

                                     $1.74 per M3 > 68 M3 – sewer

• Effective 2006, unpaid water and sewer bills became the responsibility of the property owner.  In the event that the bill remains unpaid, the amount will be added to the Township of Severn Collector's Roll as Taxes, and will be deemed to be taxes.
